Fistula needles are used with apheresis and haemodialysis systems to withdraw blood from a patient's vein or artery and return the processed blood. The textured plastic wing gives superior puncture-angle control, and the optional safety mechanism contains blood exposure. Models cover fixed and rotatable wings with or without tip shielding.
