Description

After the needle is withdrawn from the port, the shielding device slides over the tip and locks, so the clinician is never exposed to the contaminated bevel. The soft, low-profile wing conforms comfortably to the body, and a positive-pressure needle-free connector can be supplied pre-assembled.
